It is with heavy hearts that we announce, Clifford Arp, born August 4, 1939, to William and Anne Arp, passed away May 27, 2024. Clifford passed peacefully at the Regina General Hospital with his daughter Joylene by his side after a short but difficult battle with kidney failure. Cliff was predeceased by his wife of 53 years, Cora-Mae Arp, and most recently his daughter Shelley Meyers; parents Bill and Anne Arp and amazing stepdad Frank Weber; brothers Leonard, Bill, Arnold, Darwin and Lyle and his sister Marlene. Sadly, Clifford has lost many in-laws and friends as well. He is survived by his daughter Joylene and son Wayne; grandchildren Amy, Chelsea, Tamara, Justine, Clinton, Brandon, and Kaitlyn; and 8 great grandchildren. Cliff is also survived by his brothers Ken, Irvin, and Gerald, along with sisters Eleanor and Darlene.
Cliff was born in Humboldt, SK and spent his early years on the family farm at St. James. The family then purchased and moved to the farm affectionately known as old Suzie’s place. Cliff held a variety of jobs over the years which included working on a farm at Seman’s (where he met Cora-Mae Potts from Raymore), driving truck (which included owning and operating his own tandem for approximately 10 years) and running drilling rigs for Pile Foundations/Action Drilling which was the job he reminisced about the most. Cliff was known for his larger-than-life personality and was able to make and keep friends of all ages his whole life. He loved nothing more than spending time with family and friends. Funeral Service will be held for Cliff at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Monday, June 10, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. with a livestream of the service available at that time. There will be a luncheon to follow.
