With sadness and regret we wish to share the news of the death of our beloved father, Cliff Graham. Cliff passed away suddenly from a heart attack Friday, August 25, 2023, at the age of 88. He was born in York, Ontario on May 12, 1935. He worked as a fishing guide in his youth, and developed a life long love of fishing, hunting, and boating. Cliff was predeceased by his wife, Patricia (died December 17, 2020), to whom he was married for 63 years. Together, they shared a life long love of gardening, taking joy in the beautification of the lawns and gardens at their residences. Cliff is survived by his three children, Cliff (Mildred), Donna (Steve) and Joan (Craig), his grandchildren Christina (Brian and Curtis), Andrew (Heather), Candice (Derrick), Jessica (Myles), Graham (Hayley), Elizabeth “Beth” , and Samantha (Josh). Cliff looked forward to time spent with his great-grandchildren: Evelyn-Jade “EJ”, Mitchell, Tavis, Emily, Mackenna, Megan, Ethan, and Patrick. He was ready to play their favourite activities with them whether it was sharing adventure novels, playing chess, checkers, or cribbage, fishing, swimming, or playing trains, cars, or trucks. Cliff resided in Gananoque for the final 17 years of his life, where he enjoyed socializing with the members of his community and sharing the produce from his garden.
We loved you to the moon and back Dad. You will be forever remembered enjoying your favourite activities, fishing with family on the river, tending to flowers and lawns, and dancing with your loved ones.
A celebration of Cliff’s life will occur Wednesday, September 6, 2023 from 2:00-4:00pm at the Irvine Memorial Chapel, 2451 County Road 15, Maitland, Ontario.
