It is with great sadness and overwhelming sorrow that the family of the late Clement Foward Cox announce his untimely passing on Thursday, December 19th, 2024 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of only 56 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his devoted partner: Linda Hedderson; his loving children: David (Darryl), Kelsey, and Jennifer (Crystal); five grandchildren: Peyton, Lily-Mae, Kadence, Andrew, and Jack; brothers and sisters: Derek (Jackie) of New Brunswick, Collin, and Vincent, both of Cox’s Cove, Barb (Vernette) of Gillams, Luke (Lori) of Ontario, Kate (Sheldon) of Corner Brook, and Ramona (Lewis) of Cox’s Cove; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many, many friends.
Clem is predeceased by his much-adored parents: Luke and Doris Cox; sister: Trudy Cox; his special nephew: Cameron Payne; and his sister-in-law: Marlyn Cox (Vincent).
There will be a visitation taking place at the St. Nicholas Anglican Church, Cox’s Cove, on Saturday, December 21st, 2024 from the hours of 7-9 PM, from where the funeral service will take place on Sunday, December 22nd, 2024 at 11 AM with Rev. Terry Loder officiating. Cremation to take place. A private interment for family will take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Clem’s memory to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the Western Regional Hospital Foundation.
