Passed away peacefully at the Dundas Manor Nursing Home in Winchester on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, Claude McPhail of Chesterville, age 84. Loving husband of Judy McPhail (nee Butcher). Loving father of Pamela Kirkwood (Darren) of Chesterville, Joanne Droppo (Steve) of Belleville, Dawn Forbes (Tony) of Wiarton and Valerie Hernandez (Jason) of Liverpool, New York. Claude will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Evan, Jodie (Eric), Terry, Dustin, Drew (Genevieve), Lane (Lindsay), Riley and Jonah. He was predeceased by his grandson Nolan, his parents William and Isobel McPhail (nee Barker) and his sisters Dorothy McCrimmon, Patricia Bond, Sheila O’Connor and Shirley Kelly. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Arrangements
A private family service will be held at the Marsden McLaughlin Funeral Home in Chesterville. Donations to Dundas Manor Nursing Home or the Alzheimer’s Society would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
