ISENOR, Clark Seymour
March 3, 1934 – August 28, 2023
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Clark Seymour Isenor of Calabogie on August 28th, 2023 at the Ottawa General Hospital at the age of 89.
Clark was born on March 4, 1934 in Dutch Settlement, Nova Scotia. He was the youngest of twelve children and the youngest son of Laurie and Emilie (Schaefer) Isenor. Clark lived and worked in Ottawa and then spent most of his retirement years at his beautiful home in Calabogie. His last few years were spent closer to family in Stittsville. After his time in the Royal Canadian Air Force, Clark worked as a helicopter mechanic for Bell Helicopter and later for the National Resource Council until he retired. He was very independent but enjoyed socializing, especially playing cards with his friends in the Bogie. He loved his small flower and vegetable garden, bird watching and driving his tractor around Mill Street.
He is survived by his children Gary Kevin, Gregory Clark, Philip Brian (Cyndi), and Barry Keith (Erminia). He will be deeply missed by his beloved grandchildren, Jayson (Zoie), Marlo (Trent), Jessica (Nick), Douglas (Marissa), Alexandra (Aaron), Isaac and Joshua; great grandchildren Sophia, Parker, Arden, Rayna, Chase, Jaina, Isabelle, Avery and Alice.
Clark is predeceased by his wife Kay (Marilyn Fraser) Isenor and 11 brothers and sisters: Laurie, Lucy, Alexander, Clifford, Curtis, Anna, Sylvia, Theodore, Calvin, Beatrice, and Neil.
Professional arrangements entrusted to Zohr Family Funeral Home, Renfrew. Visitation will take place on Sunday, September 3rd, 2023 from 12:00-2:00pm. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:45pm at Hillcrest Cemetery, Calabogie. Following the service, a reception will take place at 678 Mill Street, Calabogie. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the Queensway Carleton Hospital Foundation, specifically the Irving Greenberg Family Cancer Centre.
