It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Clarence John Lendrum on December 23, 2023 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Clarence was born in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario on October 15, 1951 the only child of John and Margaret ( Rutledge) Lendrum.
Clarence worked for many years as a long haul truck driver, in Ontario and in New Brunswick at the time of his retirement.
Clarence was a proud member of the New Brunswick Lodge #22, affiliated with Carleton Union #8 and The York Rite Bodies of New Brunswick. Here he made many new friends, including one who joined him on his ATV for a tour of Newfoundland, which he very much enjoyed. Memories of Clarence include him going for a spin on his Harley, watching and feeding the deer in the backyard, and his many hours in the Mancave watching football, baseball and other sports.
Clarence is survived by his daughter Shelby ( Mark ) and granddaughter Annabelle of Eastern Passage NS, and son Derek (Chrissy) and grandson Nate of Sault Ste. Marie Ontario. He will be sadly missed by his partner of 15 years Phyllis Cochrane of Glenwood NB, along with family and friends, his precious dog Maddie, and 3 cat furbabies.
As per Clarences wishes there will no visitation or service. Those wishing to make a donation in Clarence’s memory may do so to a charity of their choice.
