Christine Mary Constantine (Ricketts)
February 13, 1934 – October 27, 2023

Passed peacefully away in the presence of her family at Pleasant View Towers on October 27, 2023 at the age of 89, Christine Constantine, predeceased by her husband, Tom (1996). Christine was born in Knight’s Cove, Bonavista Bay and was the last surviving member in a family of 21 children.
Leaving behind are her three children Linda (Kevin Murphy); Karen (Dave Curnew); and Barry (Sharon Skinner); three grandchildren, Jeff (Deanne); Jennifer (Nick Barron); and Adam; four great grandchildren; Luke and Nate Murphy; Ryleigh and Eve Barron.
A very special thanks to the kind and caring staff of Unit 1SE, Pleasant View Towers where she resided for the past year. The special people who work there provided exceptional care. A special thanks to the staff of Meadow Creek Retirement Centre for their care and support while she resided there for the previous five years.
Her years at Meadow Creek were extra special thanks to Yvonne Husk who formed a loving friendship with mom and always made her smile. Yvonne, Joyce and Edwina thank you for always going above and beyond.
Our deepest and sincerest thanks to Dr. F. Essaji for his care over the past year and to Dr. Vinod Patel for his comforting support during her final days.
Her quick wit and sense of humour will be remembered by all who knew and loved her.
Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Wednesday, November 1 from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Funeral Service to take place from Caul’s chapel on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at 2 p.m.
Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
The funeral can be live streamed for a link that will be provided.
Donations in her memory can be made to the St. John’s Food Bank or a charity of one’s choice.
