It with sadness that we announce the passing of Christine Karch (née Kinninmonth) Oct 8 1934 – July 22 2023 in her 91st year.
She leaves behind sons Tom and Don and her dear sister Shelia. She was predeceased 2 years ago by her loving husband Christian after 62 years of marriage. She was also predeceased by her loving daughter Jill who passed 3 years ago.
She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Steve, Kevin, Lori, Justin, Avery, Jackson, Miles and Jade as well as her great grandchildren Hailey and Hayden. She will also be missed by her brother- in-law Jim, daughter-in-law Kathy and son-law Steve.
Christine graduated from Oshawa collage in 1953 as Registered Nurse and practice nursing for her whole career until her retirement in the 1990’s.
She was an athlete in her younger days and was an avid volleyball and soft ball player. She and her husband Christian travelled extensively in their retirement years spending most winters in Florida and summers at the Family cottage.
A private family gathering will be held Wednesday July 26th.
