Christine Ann Shaw
1939-2023
Christine (Grammy Shaw) was a woman full of determination.
She could outwork just about anyone. She was always one step behind
Jack doing carpentry work or taking drives through MacDougall with a
thermos and packed lunch. In later years she enjoyed Friday night
music with her friend Robbie (Neil) MacCallum.
Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy. She
showed love by preparing meals and baking while caring for her family
and anyone who visited. Over the years she loved to dance in the
kitchen with her children, then grandchildren, playing Conway Twitty,
George Strait, and Johnny Reid to name a few of her
favorites.
She took pride in a well-kept home with many hand-created
items that made the house a home. Making preserves, sewing, and
quilting, her determination made the serious illness of COPD look
small.
She was often known for her love for high heels, lipstick,
and being dressed in style. Her happiest moments were spent with Jack
Shaw and having great conversations over a cup of tea.
Christine was predeceased by her husband Jack Renfrew Shaw,
parents Wilma Irene and Hugh Bruce Parks, son David Allen Savoie,
sister-in-law Wanda Parks, and brother Ronald Parks.
She is survived by her Siblings, Hugh Parks (wife Karen),
Linda Crosby (husband Chuck), Joanne Blair (husband Dave), Dorothy
Parks-Santerfeit (husband Billy), Charles Parks (Lynne), Juliet
Kinghorne (husband Eugene), John Parks (wife Kathy) and sister-in-law
Kaye Parks. Her children, Andrew Savoie (wife Johanne), Michael
Savoie, Wilma Boyd (husband Kelly), Richard Savoie (wife Donna), Hugh
Savoie, Roni-Sue Moran (husband Andy), Kathy Shaw (Russel), Kenneth
Shaw (Sherri) and Erica Keenan. Her grandchildren, Jonathan Barrette,
Julian Prevost-Barrette, Christina Savoie (Victor), David Savoie,
Jason Boyd (wife Shawna), Jeremy Boyd (wife Colleen), Jacob Boyd
(Heather), Remmington Savoie (Maggie), Sarina Walker (husband Frank),
Jessica Savoie (Jacob), Keana Savoie, Celine D’Orazio
(husband Mike), Vanessa Tracy (Tim), Nicole Gee (husband Cody), Jerika
Shaw (Terrance), Jarred Shaw, Jorden Keenan (Cody), Maddie Keenan and
an abundant amount of loved great-grandchildren.
