Obituary of Christina Papadimitriou (née Anagnostis)
Peacefully, with family by her side on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at Earl’s Court Village, Christina Papadimitriou passed away at the age of 86.
Beloved wife of the late Elias “Louie” Papadimitriou. Loving mother of Roula (Dan) McKiel and Maria Rathier. Cherished Yia-Yia of Rheal “Ray” Marquis (Jeanette Camara), Christina Marquis (James Brunskill), Steven (Katie) McKiel, Sylvie Roy-Lavoie (Darryl Lavoie) and Emma Rathier. Dear sister of the late Theresa (Spiros) Fourthiotis and the late John (Emily) Anagnostis. Forever in the hearts of her great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by her parents Hariklia & Methodios Anagnostis.
Christina will be fondly remembered as a gifted seamstress and put her talent to work at Bud Gowan for over 30 years.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Earl’s Court Village for all their care and support.
Visitation will be held at Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas Street, London, Ontario (between Waterloo & Colborne St.), on Sunday, January 28, 2024 from 6-9 p.m.
Prayers will be conducted in the Logan Chapel Sunday evening at 8:00 p.m.
Funeral service will be held at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 131 Southdale Rd. W., London, Ontario on Monday, January 29, 2024 at 11:00 a.m.
Interment in Woodland Cemetery, London, Ontario.
Those who wish may make memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society or Heart & Stroke Foundation in memory of Christina.
