It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Christian Alexander Lepine, 28, of Orangeville. He passed away on August 9, 2023, following a tragic motor vehicle accident.
Christian was a kind, thoughtful and funny soul and will be missed and remembered by the many lives he touched. He was taken from us far too soon, but would be amazed at the number of people who have extended a kind thought or memory.
Christian was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on February 9, 1995. He graduated from Westgate Mennonite Collegiate in 2013 and completed a year at Humber College in Orangeville.
He enjoyed telling stories, helping people, spending time with his family and friends and especially his wonderful daughter, Lily. She was unquestionably the light of his life and his «bestie» and he adored being Lily’s Dada.
He loved going to work, riding his motorcycle and spending time with his loving family. From his time at Super Lube to his years with Reefer Sales, he has loved working with everyone and being part of a family environment. Most recently, Christian worked as a technician at Reefer Sales for 5 wonderful years and talked regularly about how much he loved his job and driving his truck.
Christian is survived by his beautiful daughter Lily, his best friend and partner Sarah Daykin, mother Carleen Lepine (Graeme Mitchell), his father Louis Lepine (Doris Lepine), grandparents Reta & Albrecht Heller, grandmother Eileen Lepine and a long list of aunts, uncles, cousins and other assorted family in Canada, the U.S. and Germany and many caring friends.
Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville on Monday, August 21st, 2023 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Memorial service will be held at Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre 21 First St Orangeville, Ontario on Tuesday, August 22nd, 2023 at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. The family wishes to thank the outpouring of support and kindness from everyone who crossed paths with Christian.
A tree will be planted in memory of Christian in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. 21st Annual Dedication Service will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.
