Obituary
Smith, Cheryl Ferne, 68, passed away peacefully on July 17, 2024, with her family by her side in Yarmouth Regional Hospital after a brief illness.
Sherry, as she was known by most, loved working at the store in Clyde; she enjoyed talking to the customers and got along so well with all of her coworkers; she also loved going swimming in the summer at the Barrington pool with her buddies; she couldn’t wait to get there to catch up with them.
Most of all, she cherished her three children and three granddaughters and was so proud of them. She will truly be missed as the matriarch of our family.
Sherry leaves behind her memory to her children, Samantha (Kyle), Morty (Krista) and Stacy (Jamie), her beautiful granddaughters, Kassidiee, Ella and Ava, her sister, Jerry (Steve), her brothers in law Phillip (Brenda), and Lovitte, and her sisters in law Priscilla (Irvin), Lee and Norma, as well as many nieces, nephews and special friends.
Sherry was predeceased by the love of her life, Paul, her parents, Mort and Vera, her step-father, Paul, her brother Ken, and her parents in law, Aldon and Marie.
There will be no service, as per Mom’s request. Cremation has taken place; arrangements are entrusted to H. M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Barrington.
