The death of Charlotte Ann Myette (nee Stevenson) –
76, occurred suddenly at home in Tracadie, NS on Tuesday, January
2nd, 2024.
Born at home on Prospect Road in Halifax, NS, she was the
youngest daughter of the late Albert and Helen (nee Reid)
Stevenson.
«Lottie» as she was known to family and friends,
was very close to two of her sisters, Kathleen «Kay» (Donald
Pitts) and the late Susannah «Susie» (the late Freeman
Williams).
Lottie loved to play cards and enjoyed having family house
parties. She was always baking, which she enjoyed sharing especially
with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband Reuben of 56 years; children
Rodney, Lac la Biche, Alberta, Hilda (Billie), Tracadie, Sheldon (JP),
Bridgewater, Regionald (Bonnie), Bayfield, and Nathan (Susan),
Enfield; grandchildren Russell, Marissa, Thomas, Brandon, Brennan,
Jackson, Benjamin, and Darren. As well as several great-grandchildren.
She will be greatly missed.
Cremation has taken place, there will be no public
visitation. Funeral Mass will be held Monday, January
8th at 11am at Saint Peter’s Church
in Tracadie, NS with Reverend John Barry Presiding. A spring
internment will take place in the parish cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your
choice.
