Hannon, Charles «Charlie»..Peacefully passed away at his home on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 in his 92nd year. Born August 12, 1931 at Little Ridge in St. Stephen, NB in the family farmhouse. Son of the late Kenneth Hannon & Ruth Hannon (nee Pomeroy). Brother of the late Vera, Robert, Mary and Bill (lovingly referred to as Granville). Beloved husband of the late Cornelia «Corrie» Hannon after 61 years of marriage. Loving father to Gretchen Hannon-Grenke & her husband Bob, Kim Olesen & her husband Jeff, Ken Hannon & his wife Helen all of Trenton. Proud Poppi to Shawn, Christopher, Natasha, Stephanie, Richard, Jennifer and Poppi to great grandchildren; Colin, Viggo, Luna, Amelia, Lila and Wes. Charlie had a wonderful relationship with his nieces and nephews and will be fondly missed. Cremation has taken place. At Charlie’s request, visitation will be held at the Weaver Family Funeral Home East Life Centre, 29 Bay Street, Trenton on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 from 7-9 pm. Members of the 413 Wing & Royal Canadian Legion to the Weaver Life Centre on Wednesday Evening for a Poppy Service at 6:45 pm, prior to the visitation. Funeral Ceremony will be held at the Weaver East Life Centre on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at 1:00 pm. Interment to follow at St. Georges Cemetery and following that a continued celebration of life & reception at the 413 Wing, North Murray Street, Trenton. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Fund or R.C.A.F. Association (413 Wing Trenton) would be appreciated by the family.
