PARKER, Charles (Carlo) Calvin – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Charles (Carlo) Parker on December 28, 2024, in his 89th year, at PRHC, surrounded by his family.
Survived by his loving wife Frances of 66 years, and his children Nancy (Steve) Burrell and Susan (Tony) VanSchooneveld. Cherished and remembered by his grandchildren Stacy Dion and Daniel (Jenn) VanSchooneveld, and 4 great grandchildren, Arrow, Everest, Axton VanSchooneveld and Savannah Dion. Also survived by his brother Byron (LeeAnn) and 2 nieces.
During his lifetime he belonged to various organizations and volunteered at Community Care. He was an avid hockey enthusiast and loved travelling, camping and woodworking.
There will be a celebration of Carlo’s life held at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Road, Peterborough, On Monday, January 6, 2025, from 1:00 P.M. – 3:00 P.M. followed by interment at Little Lake Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Parkinsons Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated and can be made; along with expressions of condolence, at www.highlandparkfuneralcentre.com
