We, the family, are heartbroken to announce the passing of Charlene Ann Jones on December 4th, 2024, peacefully at her residence.
Charlene was born in Toronto, Ontario on February 9th 1961, Charlene was the daughter of the late James Poirier and Mary (Sparks) LeBlanc.
Charlene is survived by her loving husband Kenny, son David (Cassie King), grandchildren Hudson and Abigail, sisters Darlene (Clem) Smith, Karen LeBlanc, Patricia (Daren) LeBlanc, mother-in-law Eleanor Jones, sisters-in-law Kelley (Lindsay) Morris, Heather Jones, brother-in-law Gary (Joan) Jones, and many nieces and nephews.
Charlene was predeceased by her parents, brother Jimmy, and father-in- law Cedric Jones.
Charlene was presently employed at Value Village for the past 27 years, she always had a special bond with all her co-workers and customers.
Charlene was always considered to be our social butterfly, she always made everyone laugh and smile. Charlene enjoyed her girls nights with Trudy, Wanda, Karen, Debbie, and Lori.
Charlene also had special friendships with Stuart (Nancy) Smith, Keith (Charlotte) Pyne.
Charlene’s pride and joy in her life was her nanny’s boy Hudson.
Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Sydney Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be held in Sydney Memorial Chapel on Thursday, December 12th from 11am – 1pm, followed by a service in the chapel at 1pm with Rev. Dana Feltmate officiating. Interment will take place in Eastmount Cemetery, Whitney Pier at a later date.
