Cecile G. Tremblay
The family announces with great sadness the passing of Cecile at the Golden Manor on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at the age of 89 years. Predeceased by her husband F. Albert in 1994. Loving mother of Daniel Tremblay, Lionel «Len» Tremblay, Late Michel Tremblay, Suzanne Tremblay and Cecile Swanson. Cherished grandmother of Wilbert Murray, Catherine Murray, Matthew «Matt» Swanson and Simon Swanson (partner Mars). She is also predeceased by her parents Ubald and Lida Giroux, as well as her siblings Emilia Pilon, Jeanne Serré, Murielle Leroux, Ernest Laroche, Ermone Landers, Donat Laroche, Ovila Laroche, Simone Nadeau and Annette Labarre.
A special thank you to Judy Collins and Diane Cool who would take Cecile to her medical appointments and to the staff of the Golden Manor that took good care of her.
As per her wishes, cremation has taken place and the interment of her ashes will take place at a later date. In Cecile’s memory, remembrance donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. The funeral arrangements are entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE, 150 Balsam St. S. Timmins, On.
