It is with a heavy heart that the family of Carole Halickman announces her passing on Monday, January 8, 2024, in Boca Raton, Florida, with her loving family by her side. Treasured wife of Martin (Butch) Halickman. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Jeffrey, Janie and Paul Fischlin, and Kathi. Devoted Bubby of Jackson and Ashley, Rachel, Max, Joshua, Emily, and Lee. Proud great-grandmother of Mischa, Romy, and Rafael. Loving sister and sister-in-law of Shirley Ann (Bobsie twin) and Peter Lewis, Robert Miller, Norman and Vilma Miller; and sister-in-law of Henni and the late Bunny Sternklar, Fred and Rena Halickman, the late Isobel and the late Morty Goodman. Daughter of the late Fay and the late David Miller and daughter-in-law of the late Mary and the late Isadore Halickman.
Carole was a beautiful soul who touched the lives of many. Despite her battles, she maintained a youthful, positive, and humorous outlook on life. She was an inspiration to everyone who knew her. Carole lived life to the fullest and excelled at absolutely everything she set her mind to. You could find her on the golf course, painting beautiful art, playing cards with friends, on the floor playing with her great-grandchildren, and enjoying every moment she had. Carole was adored by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, and amazing friends who were all dear to her heart. The family would like to express their gratitude to Susan Keeb for her kindness. Special thanks to Carole’s beloved doctors, Dr. Pedro Ramirez, Dr. John Hughes, and Dr. Walter Gottlieb who cared as much for her as she did for them.
Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, January 14 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Nusach Hoari Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at her home.
