REECE, Carol – Passed away after a long, repeated, courageous battle with cancer at St. Catharines General Hospital on Saturday December 24, 2022 at the age of 72. She will be lovingly remembered by her partner of 18 years, Helmut Lindlau. Cherished mother of Sean (Catherine) Perry, Kira (Gary) Dolch, Kristy (Ian) Bell and step-mother of Shelley (Derrick) Tomlinson, Sherry (Don) Currie, Tim (Ann) Reece. Loving ‘Baba’ of Mitchell Perry, Brady Perry, Jaden Dolch, Keyanna Dolch, Charlie Bell, Jack Bell, Rhys Miller, Sydney Miller. Dear sister of Shirley (Bob) Greenfield, Bill (Gail) Chopiak and treasured aunt of many nieces and nephews. Mom was a kind soul who tried to save every bug’s life. She will be remembered as a kind, caring, feisty, loving woman. Carol worked for 28 years as a Social Worker with the Niagara Region and owned and operated Bridgeburg Jewelers, where she loved helping her customers. Cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to join the family at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, visiting Saturday January 28, 2023 from 11 am to 1 pm. A Funeral Service in celebration of her life will be held at 1 pm at the funeral home.
