Obituary
Carol passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side at Summit Place Nursing Home, on Tuesday, May 23rd, 2023. Born on May 27, 1942 in Owen Sound, Carol Ruth Johnson (née Graham) of Owen Sound, was in her 81st year.
Dearly loved wife and best friend of Tom Johnson for 56 years. Loving mother of Mike Johnson (Vickie) of Owen Sound and Todd Johnson (Karoline) of Orangeville. Proud nana of Kailey and Evan. Dear sister of Brad Graham (Betty), of Owen Sound.
Predeceased by her parents, Clarence and Marinda Graham and her sister, Betty McCaw.
Carol dearly loved her grandchildren. They were affectionately known as “sweetheart” and “sweetie-pie.” She was also a dog lover and enjoyed playing cards with the girls, reading and crosswords.
A Visitation for Carol Johnson will be held at the Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, 250 14th Street West, Owen Sound, 519-376-7492 on Monday, May 29, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Service for Carol will be held on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. Condolences can be sent to Carol’s family by visiting her memorial at www.woodfuneralhome.ca.
