Carmelita Judith
(Murphy) Tracey, 86, of Grand View Manor, Berwick, passed away
peacefully on Thursday, June 20, 2024. Born in Wolfville, she was a
daughter of the late Victor and Treva (Wyman) Murphy.
Carmelita enjoyed
playing 45’s, listening to music, dancing, skating, and
especially loved visiting the ocean.
She is survived by her
daughters, Tina (Paul) Wood, Kentville; and Aleta (Stephen) Wood,
Fredericton, NB; sons, Wyman (Cindy) Dorey, Myrtle Beach/South
Carolina; and Kevin Smith, Cambridge; brothers, Alden and Victor
«Vicki» Murphy; grandchildren, Kolin (Olivia) Wood, Matt
Dorey, Melody (Doug) Isenor, Elijah (Tracey) Wood and Nathaniel
(Kaite) Wood; great-grandchildren, Genevieve, Felicity, Juliette,
Luke, Haylee, Kameron and Hannah. In addition to her parents, she was
predeceased by husbands, Lewis Dorey, Marshall Smith and David Tracey;
and her sister, Molly (Buzz) Everett.
Cremation has taken
place and there will be no visitation, by request. The funeral service
will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 in the White
Family Funeral Home, Kentville. The family would like to extend their
thanks and appreciation to the staff at Grand View Manor for their
care and compassion. Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian
Cancer Society. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White
