Obituary
Carl passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side, at the Grey Bruce Health Services in Owen Sound, on Tuesday, July 24, 2023. Born on October 24, 1945 in Hepworth, Carl James Wesley Showers, of Owen Sound, was in his 78th year.
Loving brother of Helen Eyre of Owen Sound. Carl will be missed by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents, James and Matilda Showers and his sister Christine Maxwell and Betty Hollingsworth.
A Memorial Visitation for Carl Showers will be held at the Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, Owen Sound, 519-376-7492 on Saturday, February 4, 2023 from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. Spring interment in Bayview Cemetery, Wiarton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
