STODDARD, Carl O’Brien – 81, of Barrington, passed away at Yarmouth Regional Hospital, Yarmouth, on November 20, 2023. Born, May 3, 1942, at Sherose Island, he was the son of the late Stanley and Anita (Christie) Stoddard. Carl loved hunting, music and watching his grandson playing sports and spent many hours travelling to games and practices with him. He is survived by wife, Priscilla (Cunningham) Stoddard; sons, Troy (Johanna), of Cleveland, Tennessee; Trent (Monique Surette), of Bridgewater, NS; grandsons, Colby Stoddard, of Barrington,, NS; John Edwards of Arizona; great-grandsons, Eli, Zeno, of Arizona; and great-granddaughter, Ellie, of New Jersey; and also, several cousins, nieces, nephews; many friends and acquaintances. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by both sets of grandparents, Fred and Amy (Blades) Christie; Harvey and Isabel Stoddard; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. At Carl’s request, there will be no visitation or service. Arrangements are under the care and direction of H. M. Huskilson’s Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Barrington. The family would like to take this time to thank everyone for their kindness and support especially paramedics, nurses, and doctors at Yarmouth Regional Hospital and also a special thanks to Dr. Lyons.
