It is with great sadness that the family of Carl John Roberts announce his passing in his 75th year after a brief illness. Carl will be lovingly remembered by his wife and best friend of 56 years Marlene, his sons Dale (Annette) and David (Keith), his grandchildren Aaron, Sarah-Jane (Jeff) and Matthew and great grandchildren Aiden and Willow. Carl will also be sadly missed by his siblings and the entire Roberts and Gilbert families.
Carl was a hardworking and dedicated family man. In his professional career he wore many hats but farming was his true calling and he tended to his land and cattle until his final days.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the family farm in Hastings for family and friends on Sunday August 27th, 2023 from 1-4 p.m.
