In Loving Memory of
Byron David “Hoss” McGregor
June 11, 1961 – June 15, 2024
Byron McGregor passed away peacefully at the Little Current Centennial Manor at the age of 63.
He was the beloved son of Rebecca McGregor (nee Pangowish) and Gordon McGregor (both predeceased).
Byron was a cherished brother to Ron McGregor (Gloria), Valarie McGregor (Tony), Gary McGregor (predeceased) (Debbie), Marida McGregor (Art), Jennifer Nootchtai (Terry), Kelly McGregor (predeceased), Blair McGregor (Kate), Robert McGregor (predeceased), and Donna Lee McGregor (Andrew).
Byron enjoyed helping others, from yard work to small engine repairs. He was a great friend to many, and the Family acknowledges Todd Corbiere (TC – predeceased) as a long-time good friend of Byron.
Byron enjoyed casinos, fishing, helping take care of the homestead property, and cooking. He will be sadly missed by Carol White and family, as well as by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
The McGregor Family would like to acknowledge the Manitoulin Health Centre staff and Little Current Centennial Manor staff for the wonderful care they provided to Byron.
Friends and family will gather on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, from 1:30 PM at St. Gabriel’s Lalemant Catholic Church.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Gabriel’s Lalemant Catholic Church on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in the Whitefish River First Nation Cemetery.
