The family of Burton Albert
Hudlin of Sus, NB, are very sad to announce his passing at the
Saint John Regional Hospital on October 25, 2024, with his close
family by his side. He was the husband of Elizabeth (Law) Hudlin. He
was born in Lakeville Corner on March 11, 1944, to his parents, the
late Holland and Annie (Nash) Hudlin. In addition to his parents, he
was also predeceased by eight siblings.
He is survived by his wife
Elizabeth; daughter Veronica (Myron) Rivers; stepsons, Jonathan
Bryant, Wesley (Janet) Bryant; stepdaughters, Hester (Kerry) Wortman,
Tamara (Harris) Enright; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren;
brothers, Sam, Erwin; sisters, Anne David, Janis Hudlin; many nieces,
nephews, cousins as well as his loving poodle,
Princess.
Burton worked for many years as
a laborer for several companies and was not afraid of a hard
day’s work. In his spare time, he loved gardening (both
vegetables and flowers.) He loved spending time in the woods enjoying
nature, feeding the birds and had a special love for all animals. His
greatest joy was spending time with
family.
Visitation will be held at
Bishop’s Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton, NB, on Monday,
October 28, 2024, from 12 – 2pm and then will be followed by the
funeral service beginning at 2pm in the funeral home chapel with
Reverend Rick Vincent officiating, assisted by Reverend Bill Gowan. An
Interment will take place in the Byno Cemetery, Lakeville Corner, NB,
following the service.

attend the service, it will be livestreamed and can be accessed on the
