Obituary
PIVA, Bruno – 67 years old of Niagara Falls, Ontario, died March 19, 2024, at the Niagara Health System in St. Catharine’s – He courageously battled with his health and never complained.
A special thank you to Dr. Ullah, Dr. Appolani, Mike and Amanda, his nurses, and the many staff that attended his care.
As per his wishes, Bruno has already been cremated.
He was born on April 21, 1956, to Angelo Piva and Alfonsina Piva (nee Zeni) in Niagara Falls, Ontario.
He was preceded in death by his parents Angelo and Alfonsina and his wife Edda.
Bruno is survived by his Aunt Ida (the late Ermes) Daneluzzi, Aunt Elda (the late Franco) Zeni, Aunt Lois Piva and cousins: Diana, Carlo, Nadia, Claudio, Carol, Dino, Michael, Antoinetta Zeni, Lena, Clara, Antonietta, Roni, Rick, Sandra, Robert, David, Nancy, Marian, Dan and Suzy. Brothers-in-law Roderick Morgan, Danny Morgan, and Oswald Morgan (‘Robin’) and sisters-in-law Geraldene Hodelin, Eileen Morgan, and Isolyn Morgan and many nieces, nephews.
Bruno graduated from Radio College of Canada in Toronto, Ontario. Electronics and gadgets were some of his interests along with Stocks and Trades.
Bruno was curious about online commerce and did extensive research, was an avid and passionate learner. Bruno never said no, always ready to help. He was a faithful member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, and his church family and friends will miss him dearly.
Friends are invited to join the family at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, visiting Wednesday March 27, 2024 from 11 am to 1 pm. A Funeral Service in celebration of his life will be held at 1 pm at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Sheldon Imperio, with the Rite of Committal to follow at Fairview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Canadian Cancer Society or the Niagara Falls Seventh-day Adventist Church on behalf of Bruno Piva.
