Bruce “Mooner” William Robinson, longtime resident of Garden Hill, beloved husband of Wendy, passed away peacefully at PRHC on Mar 29, 2024, at the age of 65 surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his devoted daughters Selena (Steven) and Cindy (Joe), his cherished grandchildren Chloe, Carter, Emma, and Allie, and his dear brother Bob (Danette). He will also be missed by many other relatives and close friends.
Born to the late Jim and Betty Robinson, Bruce was a devoted family man whose greatest joy in life was spending time with his wife, daughters, and grandchildren. He was a loving husband, a caring father, and an adoring grandfather who always put his family first. Bruce had a passion for sports that was evident to all who knew him. Whether he was cheering on his favorite team or coaching many community teams, he was always enthusiastic and full of energy. His love for sports brought joy and excitement to those around him.
In addition to his family and sports, Bruce was known for his kind heart, quick wit, and willingness to help others. He touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. A celebration of Bruce’s life will be held on April 21, 2024, from 1-4PM at the Peterborough Curling Club located at 2195 Lansdowne Street in Peterborough, ON.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to PRHC Foundation or a charity of your choice in Bruce’s memory. Bruce William Robinson will be remembered for his love of family, his passion for sports, and his kindness towards others. May he rest in peace, knowing he was loved and cherished by all who knew him.
