Bruce Halfyard Obituary
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our father Bruce Halfyard.
Bruce passed away peacefully with his family by his side on December 5, 2023.
Bruce was born in Tottenham, Ontario, on February 24,1933.
He was proud to have served his country as a pilot in the Royal Canadian Air Force, he was a long time member of the
Canadian Harvard Aircraft Association and well known in the Ontario Grocery Industry during his sales career at Kraft Foods.
Bruce was predeceased by his beloved wife of 64 years, Shirley Halfyard and his son Steve Halfyard.
Loving Father to Gary (Jane), Charlene (Mike) and Glenn (Sandy). Cherished grandfather to Allison (Dave) Taylor, Lauren (Jordan) Connor, Devon,Kiera, Reese, Bryan and Brittany. Great-Grandfather to Cameron and Sydney. Bruce is survived by his
brother Robert (Thelma) Halfyard, was predeceased by his sisters Audrey Monk and Marion Body.
The family sincerely wishes to thank the Nurses, Caregivers and Staff of Northridge Long Term Care Home in Oakville Ontario.
A Memorial Service will be held at the McKersie & Early Funeral Home, 114 Main St. E. Milton, ON
on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at 1:00pm in the Funeral Home Chapel.
Guests are invited to join the family for a Reception following the service in the Upper Lounge
( the elevator is available for those requiring assistance )
