It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Bride Green of Burin announces her passing. Bride passed away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on Sunday, December 10th, 2023, at the age of 80.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her children, Michael Green (Shelia) of Windsor, ON, Patricia Green (Leo) of Little Bay, Josephine Green (Eli Hobin) of Little Salmonier, Sean Green (Monique) of Toronto, ON; her 5 grandchildren, Jeremey, Justin, Henry, Lowen and Corbin; her 2 great- grandchildren, Carson and Reese; her sister Mary Ryal of Vancouver, BC; her brother Joseph Lundrigan (Madeline) of Edmonton, AB; sisters-in-law, Kay Lundrigan, Lillian Green, Shelia Green; brothers-in-law, Garnet Rowe, Mike Spencer; special niece, Sandra Kieley; her loving homecare workers, Kaitlyn Riggs, Wanda Brown, Beverley Butler, Linda Power and niece Madonna Pearson; her special buddy, Twinkle Toes; plus a large circle of extended family and friends.
Bride was predeceased by her husband, Joseph; parents, Annie & John Lundrigan; parents-in-law, Gertrude & Vincent Green; special grandson, Kerry Joseph; sisters, Joan Rowe, Anna Spencer, Theresa Mitchell (Bill), Margarite Lundrigan; brothers, Bernard Lundrigan (Patricia), Jack Lundrigan; brothers-in-law, James Ryal, Cornelius Green, Kevin Green; sisters-in-law, Alice Green (Moses) and Rose Green (Gerald Pearson).
The Green Family will be accepting visitors at Wiseman’s Funeral Home – Burin on
Tuesday, December 12th, 2023 from
2:00pm to 4:00pm
7:00pm to 9:00pm
Wednesday, December 13th, 2023 from
10:00am to 12 noon
2:00pm to 4:00pm
7:00pm to 9:00pm
A Mass of Christian Burial for Bride will take place at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Marystown on Thursday, December 14th, 2023 at 2:00 pm. Interment to follow at the Salt Pond Roman Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Bride’s memory may be made to The Green Family.
