It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Brian “Pugs” Lougheed on October 2, 2023 at the age of 62. Brian is survived by his loving wife Kathleen “Kate”, son Brett (Gill), brother Barry “Chez” (Jane), sisters-in-law Marie Baril (Frank), Pat McKenna, Sandy Kelly (Joe Johnson), Jackie Aubin (Don), Brenda Reinhart (Jeff) and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Brian was predeceased by his father Glen Gordon Lougheed, his mother Alice Levina Lougheed, his brother Bradley “Burger”, niece Emily Lougheed, Father and Mother-In-Law John and Patricia Kelly and brothers-in-law John Kelly and Brian McKenna.
Brian was a Classic Rock Music connoisseur and as an avid sports fan, he enjoyed watching all sports games immensely.
Brian’s family will receive visitors at a Celebration of Life service on Sunday October 22, 2023 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #126 Lower Level, 334 Westminster Drive N., Cambridge, Ontario N3H 1S5. A private interment will take place at a later date.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, Intensive Care Unit for their wonderful care of Brian.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Brian’s memory to The Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Cambridge Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
