1950-2024
The family of Brian David Dixon (Bub) is saddened to announce his
passing on Tuesday July 16, 2024 at Tobique Valley Manor in Plaster
Rock, NB.
Brian was born in Perth-Andover, NB on August 31, 1950. He was the son
of the late Ronald and Cyretha Dixon. He was also predeceased by his
sister Deanna Warman and his nephew Chris Warman. Brian is Survived by
his brothers; Claude(Carol), Loel(Heather), Kevin and his sister Nola
Kirkpatrick: his son Shane(Krissy); daughter Natasha(Oneil);
grandchildren: Bowen, Mackenzie, Brittany and Dillon.
Brian leaves behind his longtime partner Debbie Porter and her
children Tracy(Becky), Tim(Bonnie), Troy(Melanie), Jeff(Caroline),
Penny(Scott) and Nicole. Debbie’s extended family including 10
grandchildren and many great grandchildren who called him «Grampy
Bub» and loved him dearly and will forever miss him.
A huge thank you from the Dixon family for all that Debbie and Nicole
have done for Bub prior to his placement in the Tobique Valley Manor,
and we would also like to thank the Tobique Valley Manor staff for the
excellent care given to Bub while he was a resident.
Brian worked in various industries as an industrial mechanic at Irving
Pulp & Paper, well-drilling companies and in the potato farming
industry.
Brian loved hunting, fishing, and attending stock-car racing at Spud
Speedway 660. He also enjoyed playing cribbage and 45’s and loved
listening to Blue Grass music and was also an avid hockey fan.
Visitation will be held at Brunswick Funeral Home on Saturday July 20,
2024 from 9-11 am with a Funeral to follow from the Chapel at 11:00
am. Pastor David Ferrell will officiate.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home,
Perth-Andover, NB.
