Obituary of Brenda Joy Davidson
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Brenda Joy Davidson on May 18, 2023, at the Eden Retirement Villa in Fredericton, NB. Born on December 26, 1954 in Fredericton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Lois (Hodgson) Davidson.
Brenda grew up in the military, with it taking her all over. By age 12, her family had settled in the Fredericton and Oromocto area, where she grew up to follow in the family footsteps. She began working on base at CFB Gagetown and worked there for many years. Brenda was also a member to the Geary Baptist Church, where she would regularly attend services.
Brenda is survived by her siblings, Charles (Laurie) of Waterville-Sunbury, Judy of Oromocto, and Doug of Fredericton; sister-in-law, Susan of Ottawa; as well as an extended group of family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Robert Davidson.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Oromocto Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 11th, 2023 at 2:00PM at the Geary Baptist Church, with Rev. Robert Weaver officiating. The burial will be taking place at the Geary, French Lake, Waterville Memorial Cemetery on Monday, June 12th, 2023 at 2:00PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Geary Baptist Church or to a charity of your choosing in Brenda’s name would be appreciated.
