AGRO, Brenda (nee: Wilcox) – It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of our loving mom Brenda Agro. Brenda passed on June 1st, 2024 at the age of 75, at Rapelje Lodge. Brenda is now reunited with her husband of 50 years, James (Jim) Agro. Loving mother to Tim (Mellissa) Agro and Tisha (Pat) Skuta. Cherished and proud grandmother of Courtney, Presley, Taylor and Jake. Devoted great grandmother of Oliver Agro and Augie & Luca Ammendolia. Dear sister of Sandra Gent, Wanda (Rob) Gonyou, Debbie (Chris) Ames, Lea Matthews, and sister in law of Ross (Anne) Agro, Bob (Joanne) DeNapoli. Brenda will be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Lee and Pearl Wilcox, her sister Donna Graham and brothers Tommy (Jeanette) Wilcox, James Wilcox and David Wilcox.
Brenda cherished quality time with her family and friends. Whether at the casino, playing cards, or out for a night on the town, Brenda always enjoyed socializing with those she loved. She always looked forward to last minute getaways, and weekend family gatherings. Above all, Brenda was an exceptional cook and loved to host family holidays. As she got older, you would often find Brenda talking about her grandchildren, and how proud she was of her family. Brenda will forever be remembered for her wit, warmth and unconditional love for those she touched.
Family, friends and others whose lives Brenda touched are invited to the H. L. Cudney Funeral Home, 241 West Main Street, Welland on Friday, June 7th, 2024 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. A service to celebrate Brenda’s life will be held in the chapel at 12:30 followed by interment in Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Sick Kids Hospital would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences available at www.cudneyfuneralhome.com.
