Stockdale, Bonnie Sue (Sprague)
Bonnie Sue Stockdale (Sprague), age 64 of Ingersoll, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by loved ones on Friday May 31st 2024. Beloved wife of James Allan Stockdale, devoted mother to Alycia Masse, Ryan & Katie McLarty, and Krysta McLarty (Cory) and proud grandmother of Jack, Kaylee, Rylee, Emma and Logen. Bonnie is also survived by her parents Ronald and Helen Sprague, her brother Dan (Laura) Sprague and her sister Cathy (Kevin) Bodaly. Bonnie was a stepmother, an Aunt, a friend, and a very special niece to Linda (late Tom) Witwer.
Bonnie was the very best wife, mother, grandmother, and human being. She was happiest when doing things that brought joy to her family. Bonnie loved making incredible dinners on holidays and birthdays and was well known for her fondness of baking. She will always be remembered as the world’s best brownie maker.
Bonnie was a caring and gentle person who touched many lives and was loved by countless people. Her selflessness, strength and courage are admired by all who knew her. Words cannot describe how special she was to her family, nor how deeply she will be missed. She was the most beautiful person, inside and out. The world has lost an incredible light, our family has lost its heart.
True to her character, always wanting to bring comfort to those she loves, she left behind this message, «If there ever comes a day when we can’t be together, keep me in your heart, I will stay there forever».
Bonnie’s ashes will be spread in a special place the first week of June and a private celebration of life will be held in her honour.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Eating Disorders Foundation of Canada.
