Passed away on July 10, 2024 at Freeport Hospital in Kitchener, ON at the age of 70.
Loving mother of Philip, Ryan (Jessica), Jason (Jane) and David (Silvia).
Cherished grandmother of Parker (Brittany), Spencer, Grace, Shelby, Landan, Kayleigh, Chase, Cassie, Emily, Eric, Ivy, Adan and Kane.
Dear great-grandmother of Parker Jr. (PJ).
Sister of Janet Coombs, Jim Runions (Donna), Debbie Lealess (Steve), Karen Hussey (Bill), Neil Runions (Kim) and Paul Runions (Nghia).
Special aunt to Kim Geimer.
Predeceased by her parents Vernon and Kathleen Runions (nee Whittle), her brothers Dale and Brian Runions.
Bonnie found her greatest joy in life to be family; being a mother, grandma, great-grandma and dog-mom to her beloved Riley.
Bonnie’s family will receive relatives and friends from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, July 12, 2024 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Visitation will continue from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM on Saturday, July 13 with a Funeral Service to begin at 1:00 PM in the chapel. Reception to follow.
The family would like to extend appreciation to the excellent staff at Grand River Hospital and the Palliative Care team at Freeport Hospital.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Kitchener Waterloo Humane Society would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
