It is with great sadness that the family of Robert (Bob) Francis announce his passing at RMH Lindsay, Ont. at the age of 81, after a short illness. Bob was the cherished and devoted husband to Bev (Wood) for 61 years. Loving father to Mike (Glenna) and Jeff (Maria). Dearest «Poppa» to Sara (Thomas), Christopher, Nicholas and Austin. Bob was the eldest son to Bernice and Orval Francis (predeceased) and beloved brother to Bill (Carol) and predeceased by his sister Elizabeth (Mike) Sears. Special Brother in law to Edwin and Susan Wood of Whitby. «Uncle Bob» will be missed by his nieces and nephews and their families. A life well lived, may you rest in peace. In keeping with Bob’s wishes there will be no visitation. A private family funeral will be held. A celebration of Bob’s life to follow at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations can be through Mackey Funeral Home to Kawartha Lakes Humane Society or Trinity United Church, Bobcaygeon, Ontario will be appreciated.
