Obituary of Billy Wallace
William «Billy» Michael Wallace, age 67, of William’s Point, Antigonish County passed away suddenly Thursday, January 5th 2023 in St Martha’s Regional Hospital surrounded by family. Born in Merland Guysborough County he was the son of the late Frank and Mary Wallace.
Billy is survived by his wife Darlene; daughter Michelle (Shane); grandchildren, Domonic, Dawson, Gabby, Bella, Damien (of Thorburn Pictou County); mother-in-law Shirley Chisholm; sister Allie Ronaghan, Ontario; and brother Earl, Afton; sister-in-law Rosena Wallace, Antigonish; special nephew Gerald (uncle Gerally); and many, many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by John Francis (Little Daddy) and Joan; Leonard and Marilyn; Ronnie and Debbie; Gene and Carolyn; Damian and Dorothy; Berkie and Anthony, all of Antigonish County; Walter «Buddy» and Mae, Ontario; brother-in-law Alfie Ronoghan; sisters-in-law Ella Mae Wallace and Marlene Chisholm.
Billy worked in various departments of food service at St. Francis Xavier University for 33 years until retirement.
Special thanks to his team of nurses and doctors at outpatients and ICU.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation 2-4 and 7-9 pm Monday, January 9, 2023 in MacIsaac Funeral Home, 61 Pleasant Street, Antigonish. Funeral mass 11 am Tuesday, January 10 in St. Ninian Cathedral, Rev. Danny MacLennan presiding.
