It is with profound sadness that the family of Beverley Perrin, of Chatham, announce her sudden passing on Thursday March 16th, 2023. Cherished daughter of the late Harold and Lillian Knott. Beloved wife of the late Richard “Dick”. Mother of Heather Sarson and her husband Dave of Chatham and Brent and his wife Christine of Tecumseh. Proud grandmother of Carter, Spencer, Lieneke and Pierce. Survived by her dear sister-in-law Lynn Knott (the late Dave), Carolyn Blackburn (the late Dale), Pamela Perrin (the late Jim). Preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Marlene Sebo (the late Joseph). Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Mom worked for over 30 years at St. Joseph’s hospital in Chatham as a Nurse in the Operating Room. During a short time in between, she managed the Roller Alley. Mom was a very active member of the Evangel Community Church and held her church family close. Over the past 20 years she has created over 35 quilts for babies both for family and friends. She enjoyed attending the ballet, musicals and live theatre. Mom and Dad loved their visits to the East Coast, sailing on tall ships in Maine and Nova Scotia. She recently travelled “home” to the UK to visit cousins in Scotland as she has done many times.
Family and friends are invited to the Alexander & Houle Funeral Home, 245 Wellington St. West, Chatham, 519-352-2710 on Monday March 20th with visiting from 6 to 9 pm. A private family service will be held with Pastor Emerson McFaul officiating. Cremation to follow with interment at a later date. Friends planning an expression of remembrance are asked to consider Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation, Scott Mission, and Covenant House.
