Bev passed away in the late evening of November 9th after a tough fight against cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family during her final days at the Queensway Carleton Hospital.
Loving wife to David Briscoe of 52 years, mother of Lisa (Steven Mosseau), and a proud nanny of 2, Brandon and Erica Mosseau. She was loved by her sister Gail (late Dalton Stokes), her late brother Ronnie (sister in-law Gloria), her nieces and nephews Julie, Paula (Kevin McGetchie), and Stephen (Lesley), Carolyn (Mark Doucette) and Greg. As well as her furbaby Buddy. She will be missed dearly by all her great nieces and nephews. Beverly was predeceased by her parents Ethel (Behm) and Basil Mick.
Bev was known and loved by so many. She spent most of her time watching her grandchildren play sports or going for drives with her loving husband David. She was the Clerk Treasurer at Admaston Bromley Township for 37 years where she worked with a fantastic group of people, that quickly became more than just co-workers, they became an extended family. On a very common occurrence, Bev and her family would be found at the farm playing cards. This was looked forward to almost every week. She very much-loved when the family gathers on every holiday and occasion.
Visitation will take place at Zohr Family Funeral Home, 85v Munroe Avenue East Renfrew, on Tuesday November 21, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-8pm. There will be a Memorial Service held in the Chapel of Zohr Family Funeral Home, the following morning at 11am with Rev. David McFarlane officiating. These services will be followed by a lunch reception at The Admaston United Church Hall, and the inurnment will take place at a later date in Admaston Public Cemetery.
The family of Beverly would appreciate any donations made in her memory to be given to the Admaston United Church, or the Sunshine Coach Service (Friends of the Disabled, Renfrew).
