SOSNOSKI, Mrs. Beverly Ann (Jack):
Peacefully reunited with her husband Jack after 13 years apart, on Sunday, September 29th, 2024 at the age of 87. She was surrounded by her loving family in her final days.
Deeply mourned by sons, Alan, Brad (Luanne Schnarr), Chris, Dave (Laurie Scott); and daughters Suzanne (Brad Parsons) and Tracey (Mike Schulz). Loving Grandma to Megan (Joe Clark), April (Ryan Pollington), Sarah, Layne (Nicole Shepard), Jenna (Dallas Baker), Chad (Parsons), Chanel, Skyler, Chase, Madison (Schulz), Mandi (Parsons), Braden (Schulz) and «G.G.» to Peyton, Jackson, Olivia (Clark), Max, Wesley (Pollington), Renly (Sosnoski), as well as brother Jim, sisters Carole and Sandy, and their families.
A devoted family matriarch, Bev found joy in making every occasion something to remember, especially Christmas – her favourite time of year. Her home was always filled with the smell of good cooking, sounds of laughter (or yelling), and lots of love.
Bev was a strong, independent woman for her generation, and proud to be the first full-time female corrections officer hired in Ontario, a job she loved.
In her retirement, Bev and Jack traveled the «States» regularly, shopping to their hearts content. She had a keen ability to track down a «damn good» deal and enjoyed nothing more than showering her family with her generosity.
Many thanks to the caregivers who supported Bev during her final months.
It brings the family great comfort to know Jack and Bev are together again.
A private memorial for Bev’s family and close friends will take place on Friday, October 4, 2024 from 2-4 p.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467.
