Betty Riddell Obituary
Passed away peacefully at Brightshores Health System, Owen Sound on Monday, June 10, 2024. Born on Monday, February 9, 1931, Betty Lenore Riddell (nee Clark) of Owen Sound, was in her 94th year.
Beloved wife of the late Elwood Riddell. Loving mother of Cheryl Prentice (George) of Owen Sound and Duane Riddell (Helene Belanger) of Gatineau. Cherished grandma of Daniel (Erin), Kaitlin (Matt), Stefan (Katherine), Alexandre, Matthew (Sarah) and Andrea. Dear great-grandma of 14 great grandchildren. Betty will also be missed by her nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her parents Dougald and Mabel Clark, and by her siblings Neil Clark, Gord Clark, Marg Hyslop, Isabelle Johnston, Donalda Webber and Anna Crawford.
Heartfelt thank you to the wonderful staff at Kelso Villa for their compassionate care, and to Brightshores Health System, Owen Sound’s 6th Floor team for the excellent attention while Betty was in their care.
A graveside service to celebrate Betty’s life will be held at Leith Cemetery, 419000 Tom Thomson Lane, Leith, on Monday, June 17, 2024, at 2:30 p.m., with Rev. Kristal McGee officiating.
