Betty Marie Pratt Barkley – age 75 of Knoxville passed away Thursday, January 12, 2023. Betty was a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church. Betty loved her family and devoted her life to caring for her daughter, Susan. She enjoyed baking and sewing, especially smocking newborn baby gowns.
Preceded in death by husband, Bill Barkley; daughter, Susan Carol Barkley; parents, Ulas and Bessie Pratt; sister, Rosalee Miller; and infant brother, Bobby Lee Pratt.
Survived by sister, Jewel (Leon) Bell; loving aunt to nieces and nephews, Mark Miller, Rodney Bell, Brad Bell, Patty Hamilton, Michelle Breeden, Kim Bell Steele; and special great nephews, Wesley Frazier and Ryland Frazier.
The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 PM on Monday, January 16, 2023, at Bridges Funeral Home followed by the funeral service at 7:00 PM with Pastor Darren Kitts officiating.
