STEENBURG, Betty Mae…passed away peacefully surrounded by her family following a brief battle with Cancer at the Hospice Quinte on Thursday, September 7, 2023 in her 93rd year. Daughter of the late Ira & Rosella Peterson. Loving wife and dear friend of the late Jack Steenburg (2011). Cherished mother of Randall & his wife Cathy, Jamie all of Trenton and Robin of Toronto. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Aimee & her husband Aaron of Bowmanville, Kevin & his wife Nadine of Brighton, Sophie of Toronto and Leo of Halifax and great grandchildren Ashlyn, Ainsly, Hannah and Sofia. Beloved sister of Russel & his wife Sharon of Trenton. Predeceased by her sisters Leah, Minnie, Corina and Joyce and brothers Delbert, Elwood, Gerald, Tom and Garnet. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Betty was a longtime member with Christ Church Glen Miller. Friends are invited to the Weaver Family Funeral Home – West, 170 Dundas St. West, Trenton on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 from 5-8 pm. Funeral ceremony will be held at the Weaver Family Funeral Home – West on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at 11 am. Rev Bradley Beal officiating. Interment Mount Evergreen Cemetery.
