PENNINGS, Bert – On Sunday, May 12th, 2024, in his 92nd year, Bert went to be his Lord and Saviour with his family by his side. Loving son of the late Hendrik and Johanna Pennings. Beloved husband of 65 years to Thea Pennings (nee Zuiderveen). Dear father to Henry Pennings,(Geraldine), Betty Kroezen (Fred), Larry Pennings (Lynette), Annita Boer (Kevin), and Joy Pennings. Cherished Opa to 22 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren. Also loved and remembered by his and Thea’s brothers and sisters. The family will receive friends at the Ebenezer Christian Reformed Church (18 Fourth Avenue, Trenton) on Wednesday, May 15th, 2024 from 6:00p.m. – 8:00p.m. Service will be held from Ebenezer Christian Church on Thursday, May 16th, 2024 at 1:00p.m. Private family interment at the Carrying Place Annex Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Quinte Region Christian Schools or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
