Meng, Albert “Bert” E.
Peacefully passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at his residence in Elmira at the age of 91 years. Beloved husband and best friend for 71 years of Elaine (Heubach) Meng. Dear father of Brenda Bacon (2018), Donna Zitar, Kevin Meng, Judy Carere, and Christopher Meng. Lovingly remembered by his ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Devoted brother of Darlene Byers of Kitchener. Predeceased by daughter Brenda Bacon and granddaughter Michelle Zitar.
A celebration of Bert’s life will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Grand River Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated and may be made through the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira.
