It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Benoit Richer on Thursday March 28, 2024 at Woodland Villa in Long Sault, at the age of 93. Beloved husband of Yolande Vien-Richer (nee Himbeault). Dear father of Carol Champagne (Jean-Marc), Adele Richer, Lise Larocque, Sue Ranger (Dan), Sandra Forgette (Eric) and Mario Vien (Cheryl) and grandfather to many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Benoit is survived by his sisters Madeleine, Rhea, Raymonde, Bernadette and Louise. Predeceased by his parents Aime and Marie Richer and several siblings.
Benoit is resting at Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street (613-938-3888) where his family will receive friends on Wednesday April 3rd, 2024 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. A funeral service will follow in the chapel at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.
