Benjamin Neil Howden January 4th 1956 – December 9th 2023. The youngest of eight sons born to Jim and Elda Howden in Fort Qu’Appelle, Saskatchewan.
Predeceased by his mother and father & brother John Howden. Left behind wife of 49 years Carol Anne Howden, and their three sons, daughter in laws & 13 grandchildren Cory (Marnie) Porscha, Seth, Jayse & Marigold. Caleb (Rebecca) Jade (Scott), Brook, and Cabe, Carlin (Nicole) Paige, Bentley, Ava, Emilio and Graciella.
Ben had a deep unwavering faith that was evident in the way he lived his life and deeply encouraging to everyone that walked beside him and got to experience life with him. He loved deeply, and his love for people was always felt. His family is thankful for the advice that he freely gave and that they could always count on it leading back to God. Ben and Carol, family and friends had a great past year together on a journey full of travelling, adventures and celebrations. Ben received the news he was back in remission the day before his passing and was elated about up coming events their family had planned.
Husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, friend. Ben was also father to those who needed one and had a deep compassion for those he had met through out his life. He had a talent for connecting with people in a fun witty way, if it wasn’t one of his dad jokes he was probably singing a song, always ready to make people smile.
