Peacefully, on December 31, 2022, Benjamin Claire Ninham began his journey back home, to the land of the Ancestor’s, in his 64th year.
Beloved father of Vanessa Abram, Chase King (Lana) Skylar King (Walter), Destiny Albert (Jeremy), Harmony Albert (Chris) and Ben Ninham Jr.
Sadly missed by his grandchildren Nykia, Carmella, Remington, Malachi, Cole, Josh, McKayla, Kane, Kason & Rayden. Great grandfather to Koleeo & Krus.
Predeceased by his parents Harley Elijah and Ruth Ninham, also siblings, Harley Jr., Brian, Wayne, Patrick, and Nancy.
Survived by siblings Layton, Joanne, Lisa, Elsie and Jesse.
Ben will be dearly missed by his Aunt’s Alvina and Denise and Sister-in-laws Ivy and Didy.
Lovingly remembered by special nephews and nieces Big Jack-The Champ a.k. Bert, Christopher, Dewman, Lawrence, Larenzo and “The Beagle Brats” Teha, Diaz, Drez-D, Lasa, and Bronson; Charmaine, Danielle, Nona, Charlotte, Cocoa, Ce-ce and Larencia.
Also survived by his two special friends and Mother’s to his children Colleen King and Susanne Albert.
He will be deeply missed by his treasured friend’s Ron Elijah, Dean Logan, Darren Jacobs, Warren Noah, Gordie Hopkins Jr., Bill Sands Dennis Riley, Denny Abram, Fly, Tom Hickson, Master Kim, Rick Peters, Chris George, Stan Hill, and Eva Doxtator. Also missed by several other cousins and many friends.
Ben will be resting at the residence of his children on 87 Bear Creek Road, Chippewa Nation, on Monday January 2, 2023, from 1pm – 8pm, Tuesday from 1pm-8pm, Funeral to follow on Wednesday January 4th, 2023 from the residence. Interment Longhouse Cemetery, Oneida Road, Oneida Settlement.
Reverend Larry Ireland will be officiating.
