Obituary of Barry Delmage
Peacefully, on Thursday, May 30th, 2024, at Bluewater Health, Barry Delmage passed away at the age of 84.
Beloved husband of Violet, for 62 years. Loving father of Tracey (Gilles) and Todd (Alison). Cherished grandfather of Lindsay, Meaghan, and Nicole and great-grandfather of Luke. Dear brother of Barb (Brush (Jim) and brother-in-law of Bev and Ches Warren (Mary). Predeceased by parents Horace and Ferne Delmage, brothers Robert and Douglas. Barry will be missed by his nieces, nephews, and friends. Barry will be remembered by many former colleagues at DuPont where he enjoyed a career for many years.
Barry loved hunting, fishing, sporting clays, and touring around Lambton County in his truck checking out the farm scene. Never at a loss for words, Barry loved to talk to people, hear their stories, and add some of his own. He made many friends just because he couldn’t resist stopping and talking to people to learn about them and hear what they had to say. Because of this, he was so well known to his neighbours on Nassau Crescent, and in the last months, on the 5th floor at Bluewater Health.
Heartfelt thanks to the staff of Palliative Care. Your kindness and compassion are beyond compare. Sympathies may be expressed through donations to Bluewater Health or Sarnia Humane Society.
A casual visitation will be held at Denning’s of Forest, 9 James St. S., on Tuesday, June 4th, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. A private family interment will be held in Beechwood Cemetery.
Online condolences can be expressed at www.forestfuneralhome.com.
